oh this town, it's so electric

Hello! This is kind of an update post to let you know that I probably won't be posting too much here anymore. However, (get mentally prepared for some shameless self promotion!!!) I would love it and be immensely thankful if you checked out my portfolio. For now, it's only for photography but I'm hoping to post some of my writing and some of my videos on there as well!
Happy holidays!

P.S. The pictures of Mexico I had promised are in my portfolio! Thank you!

sweet dreams till sunbeams find you

Hey!
I can't believe I haven't blogged since April... Wow. It's so strange to think how recently yet how long ago that was.
Since April, I've been to Mexico City (as you know), finished my grade 11 exams, volunteered at a musical festival, worked at a stadium, had two friends from LA come visit me, went back to LA to see my friends, went to a cottage, and started my final year of high school. Needless to say, I'm a little bit a lot terrified, no big deal. Applications are due December 2nd but no big deal hahahahaha. *crying internally*
I'm slowly trying to get back into school mode but also trying to start being creative again because, apart from some film photography, I really haven't done much art-wise in a while, which makes me really sad but I still feel like I had an amazing summer so I'm happy.

P.S. I know I said I'd post pictures of Mexico City and I will try to do it asap!

elle est partie comme l'été

Hey guys, sorry for the long & unintentional hiatus but *insert excuses here*
Anyway, I've been slowly catching up on reading all of your blogs since you guys are more productive than I am.
I also turned 17 and got more clothes and jewelry because come on, I have a never ending collection to fill am I right?!?
Plus, I visited Mexico City (!!!) which was ah-may-zing & I'll post pictures of this majestic place as soon as those babies are developed.
Also, exams are coming up so pleeeease which me luck! And for those of you who are in the same boat, best of luck!!!

And here are a few photos from Christmas break that I never got around to posting:

Last but not least, I will probably continue to post just as sporadically so my apologies in advance.

letting the days go by

Hey guys!
On the 21st, I went to a Solstice party/get-together and it was abso-freaking-lutely lovely!
The ten of us drank tea, made dinner, ate it, played Cards Against Humanity while watching The Grand Budapest Hotel, talked, played hide and seek, had group hugs/sang a High School Musical song, had a cuddle puddle, and overall had a great time.

My friend Elena took two polaroids, one of which she kindly let me keep. To take the picture, she would stand up, point her camera at us, and wait until we'd actually return to our conversation, and be ~in the moment~ to take a picture. It made us all laugh to see her standing there, waiting for the right moment to catch us in our ~natural habitat~

Until this outfit, I hadn't layered since the whole wearing a t-shirt over a long-sleeve shirt trend, so this was kind of a change for me...

Who's that in my necklace, you ask? Oh, no one... Just my husband Evan Peters nbd. Props to Manuela for the rad gift (thank you!)

I finally got my first pair of Docs back in I think November(?) and they were definitely worth the pain of breaking them in. I love them so much!
